i’m just really annoyed/confused. good thing my published p&p fanfiction book came today, too…FIRST, REPORT THAT SELLER. second, i’m diggin’ the 90s cover. not EVEN regency.
Oh my gosh, I am pretty sure I have the shitty P&P cousin of that in a box back in Canada. Like, I would not be surprised at all if it’s the same publisher. Anyone else have that one? Lizzy’s got a scary face and a big purple dress that looks like she’s got a rocking chair underneath it and she’s sitting by a picket gate and some oily dude, presumably Darcy, is kissing her hand while she grins vacantly out at the viewer from beneath a parasol? And there’s some cutesy tag line that was about five sisters and matrimonial “mayhem” or somesuch? Maybe they used the word hijinks, I can’t exactly remember. Shenanigans?
